Have you ever looked at your life and wondered...

"How did I get here?"

I have...

After cancelling my flight back home, I found myself in St. Jean Pied de Port, France, ready to pursue my dreams.

• In 2011, I watched the movie "The Way" and just knew that someday I would walk this thing called The Camino de Santiago.

• In 2020, I retire from nursing and joined The St. Louis Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino.

• In February 2023, I was invited by Ann and Barb to walk the last 100 km of the Camino Frances. Just the nudge I needed.

• In August 21, 2023, I flew to Barcelona with plans to walk from SJPP to Logrono, Spain, then catch a train to Sarria to walk the last 100 km of the journey with Ann and Barb.

• On August 22, 2023, upon my arrival in St Jean Pied de Port, the whispers of my soul got loud enough that I stopped and listened. I canceled all my plans that were made 6 months earlier, including my flight home. My dream has always been to walk the Camino Frances...all of it! So that's what I decided, and it felt oh so right.

• That is how I got here!
